Polytechnic University seeks international partners for cooperation in the fields of:
- Willow indirect recovery technologies (gasification, pyrolysis, fermentation);
- New approach for spatially targeting of land innovative agricultural production to increase short-rotation woody crops;
- Wastewater treatment in energy willow crops;
- Cogeneration and trigeneration plants crops willow, poplar and waste-forestry;
- Modeling of complex systems of environmental protection, biodiversity and energy transformations.
University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (UPB) is the largest and the oldest technical university in the country and among the most prestigious universities in Romania. The proposed project will involve teachers and researchers with a wide experience of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics and Power Engineering Faculties working in the fields Thermal Equipments for Power Systems, Renewable Power Sources, Energy Efficiency, Environmental Engineering and Power Systems Management.
