Our research team is looking for an European consortium to offer its expertise and find new partners to collaborate. We are familiar with European Projects and we gained experience and expertise by participating in a large number of National and European collaborative R&D projects (Horizon 2020, POSCCE, INNOVATION IN SME, INTERREG IV C, Cross-Border Romania-Bulgaria, Cross-Border Romania-Hungary, COSME, POSDRU, etc.).
We have a multidisciplinary team with expertise in several areas related to agricultural engineering, installations and equipment for food industry, superior valorisation of waste and biomass by producing biofuels.
We want to develop a project for obtaining organic amendments with fertilizing, pest repellent, and fungicide activity with long time action, from various plants for organic agriculture.
We have the necessary expertise in the field for the extraction of active principles from various plants, who’s repellent action was verified in protected spaces (greenhouses) for a series of agricultural crops.

The mission of the Institute is to conduct scientific research (fundamental and applied) and innovation in the field of processes, technologies and mechanizing and automating technical equipment of the agricultural and food industry works in the context of harmonization of entire activities with European Union activities.
Main Research Directions
· Scientific substantiation of the processes in agriculture, food industry and creating of a new technology of mechanization, instruments and technical equipment compatible and competitive with the European area of the research specific to the concepts of SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE and FOOD SAFETY;
· Renewable power sources (biomass, biofuels), technologies and technical equipment for their use in conditions of efficiency, life, health and environment protection;
· Rural development and raising of life quality by technological transfer and demonstrations of the research results performed by the Institute.
